حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ قَتَادَةُ أَنْبَأَنِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ أَنْتَ سَمِعْتَهُ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُضَحِّي بِكَبْشَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ أَقْرَنَيْنِ، وَيُسَمِّي وَيُكَبِّرُ، وَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ يَذْبَحُهُمَا بِيَدِهِ وَاضِعًا عَلَى صِفَاحِهِمَا قَدَمَهُ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ used to sacrifice two horned, white-flecked rams. He would say the name of God and say 'God is greatest.' I saw him slaughter them with his own hand, placing his foot on their sides.
