✧ I was running among the boys while they were saying: 'Muhammad has come,' so I ran but saw nothing. Then they said: 'Muhammad has come,' so I ran but saw nothing. He said: Until the Messenger of God ﷺ and his companion Abu Bakr came, and they hid in one of the lava fields of Madinah. Then they sent a man from the desert people to seek permission for them from the Ansar. About five hundred of the Ansar came out to meet them until they reached them. The Ansar said: 'Proceed, safe and obeyed.' So the Messenger of God ﷺ and his companion advanced among them. The people of Madinah came out until even the young women were on the rooftops, looking at him and saying: 'Which one is he? Which one is he?' He said: We had never seen a sight like it on that day. Anas b. Malik said: I saw him on the day he entered upon us and on the day he died, and I never saw two days like them.
