حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قَطَنٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

قَنَتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ شَهْرًا بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ يَدْعُو عَلَى أَحْيَاءٍ مِنْ أَحْيَاءِ الْعَرَبِ ثُمَّ تَرَكَهُ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ performed qunut for a month after rukuʿ, supplicating against tribes among the Arab tribes; then he abandoned it.
