حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

كَانَ [النَّبِيُّ ﷺ ] يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَقُولَ فِي دُعَائِهِ: اللَّهُمَّ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً، وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ. قَالَ شُعْبَةُ: فَقُلْتُ لِثَابِتٍ: مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ [النَّبِيُّ ﷺ ]

Translation

✧ To say in his supplication: "O Allah, give us goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire." Shu'bah said: So I said to Thabit, narrating from the Prophet ﷺ, he said: Yes.
