حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ، وَكَانَ بَيْنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَبَيْنَ نِسَائِهِ شَيْءٌ، فَجَعَلَ يَرُدُّ بَعْضَهُنَّ عَنْ بَعْضٍ، فَجَاءَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ احْثُ فِي أَفْوَاهِهِنَّ التُّرَابَ وَاخْرُجْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ

Translation

✧ The prayer was called, and there was something between the Prophet ﷺ and his wives. He began pushing some of them away from others. Then Abu Bakr came and said: "O Messenger of Allah, throw dirt into their mouths and go out to the prayer."
