حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ

سُئِلَ أَنَسٌ، عَنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، فَقَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَتَعَوَّذُ يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ، وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَفِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

Translation

✧ Anas was asked about the punishment of the grave, and he said: The Prophet ﷺ used to seek refuge, saying: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness and old age, cowardice and miserliness, the trial of the Dajjal, and the punishment of the grave."
