حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ
قَالَ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَا رَأَيْنَا مِثْلَ قَوْمٍ قَدِمْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَحْسَنَ مُوَاسَاةً فِي قَلِيلٍ، وَلَا أَحْسَنَ بَذْلًا فِي كَثِيرٍ، لَقَدْ كَفَوْنَا الْمُؤْنَةَ، وَأَشْرَكُونَا فِي الْمَهْنَأِ، حَتَّى لَقَدْ حَسِبْنَا أَنْ يَذْهَبُوا بِالْأَجْرِ كُلِّهِ. قَالَ: لَا، مَا أَثْنَيْتُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَدَعَوْتُمُ اللهَ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ] لَهُمْ
Translation

✧ The Muhajirun said: O Messenger of God, we have never seen people like those among whom we have settled who are more generous in sharing when they have little and more giving when they have much. They have taken care of our needs and shared their comforts with us, so much so that we feared they would take all the reward. He said: No, as long as you praise them and pray to God for them.
