✧ Eight men from Ukl came to the Prophet ﷺ and embraced Islam, but they found the climate of Madinah unsuitable. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded them to go to the camels of charity and drink from their urine and milk. They did so and recovered, then they apostatized and killed their herders, or their shepherds, and drove them away. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent trackers in pursuit of them, and they were brought back. He cut off their hands and feet, and did not cauterize them until they died, and he gouged out their eyes.
