حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ حَدَّثَنِي نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ
كَانَ عَلَى الْكَعْبَةِ أَصْنَامٌ، فَذَهَبْتُ لِأَحْمِلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ إِلَيْهَا، فَلَمْ أَسْتَطِعْ، فَحَمَلَنِي، فَجَعَلْتُ أَقْطَعُهَا، وَلَوْ شِئْتُ لَنِلْتُ السَّمَاءَ

✧ There were idols on the Kaaba. I went to lift the Prophet ﷺ up to it, but I could not. So he lifted me, and I began to break them. Had I wished, I could have reached the sky.
