حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ قَصْرِ الصَّلَاةِ، فَقَالَ: سَافَرْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ إِلَى مَكَّةَ، فَصَلَّى بِنَا رَكْعَتَيْنِ حَتَّى رَجَعْنَا. فَسَأَلْتُهُ: هَلْ أَقَامَ ؟ فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ، أَقَمْنَا بِمَكَّةَ عَشْرًا
Translation

✧ I asked Anas b. Malik about shortening the prayer. He said: "We traveled with the Prophet ﷺ from Madinah to Makkah, and he prayed two rak'ahs with us until we returned." I asked him: "Did he stay?" He said: "Yes, we stayed in Makkah for ten days."
