حَدَّثَنَا عَبِيدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

خَرَجَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ، فَتَلَقَّتْهُ الْأَنْصَارُ بَيْنَهُمْ، فَقَالَ: وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّكُمْ، إِنَّ الْأَنْصَارَ قَدْ قَضَوْا مَا عَلَيْهِمْ وَبَقِيَ الَّذِي عَلَيْكُمْ، فَأَحْسِنُوا إِلَى مُحْسِنِهِمْ وَتَجَاوَزُوا عَنْ مُسِيئِهِمْ

Translation

✧ The Prophet of God ﷺ went out, and the Ansar met him among them. He said: By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, I love you. The Ansar have fulfilled what was upon them, and what remains is upon you. So be good to their good ones and overlook their wrongdoers.
