حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ

سُئِلَ أَنَسٌ عَنْ صَلَاةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِاللَّيْلِ، فَقَالَ: مَا كُنَّا نَشَاءُ أَنْ نَرَاهُ مُصَلِّيًا إِلَّا رَأَيْنَاهُ، وَلَا نَائِمًا إِلَّا رَأَيْنَاهُ

Translation

✧ Anas was asked about the Prophet's ﷺ prayer at night, and he said: 'We never wished to see him praying except that we saw him, nor sleeping except that we saw him.'
