حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ
سُئِلَ أَنَسٌ: هَلِ اتَّخَذَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ خَاتَمًا ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، أَخَّرَ لَيْلَةً الْعِشَاءَ إِلَى شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ صَلَّوْا وَرَقَدُوا، وَإِنَّكُمْ لَمْ تَزَالُوا فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا انْتَظَرْتُمُوهَا. فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ خَاتَمِهِ
Translation

✧ Anas was asked: 'Did the Prophet ﷺ take a ring?' He said: 'Yes. He once delayed the 'Isha' prayer until the middle of the night, then said: "The people have prayed and gone to sleep, but you have remained in prayer as long as you have been waiting for it." It is as if I can still see the gleam of his ring.'
