حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ وَابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ يَعْنِي غُنْدَرًا قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِلَحْمٍ تُصُدِّقَ بِهِ عَلَى بَرِيرَةَ، فَقَالَ: هُوَ لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ، وَهُوَ لَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ

Translation

✧ That the Prophet ﷺ was brought some meat that had been given as charity to Barirah, and he said: "It is charity for her, and a gift for us."
