حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ
صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، وَخَلْفَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ، وَعُثْمَانَ، وَكَانُوا لَا يَجْهَرُونَ بِـ بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Translation

✧ "I prayed behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, as well as behind Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman, and they would not audibly recite 'In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful' (Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem) in Surah Al-Fatiha."

وكذلك روي عن الأعمش عن قتادة وثابت عن أنس وكذلك رواه عامة أصحاب قتادة منهم هشام الدستوائي وسعيد بن أبي عروبة وأبان بن يزيد العطار وحماد بن سلمة وحميد الطويل وأيوب السختياني والأوزاعي وسعيد بن بشير وغيرهم وكذلك رواه معمر وهمام واختلف عنهما في لفظه وهو المحفوظ عن قتادة وغيره عن أنس

الأحاديث في الإخفاء نصوص لا تحتمل التأويل وأيضا فلا يعارضها غيرها لثبوتها وصحتها وأحاديث الجهر لا توازيها في الصحة بلا ريب ثم إن أصح أحاديث ترك الجهر حديث أنس وقد اختلف عليه في لفظه فأصح الروايات عنه كانوا يفتتحون القراءة بالحمد لله رب العالمين
