حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا أَنَّ أَبَا مُوسَى قَالَ

اسْتَحْمَلْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ، فَحَلَفَ [أَنْ] لَا يَحْمِلَنَا، ثُمَّ حَمَلَنَا. قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّكَ حَلَفْتَ لَا تَحْمِلُنَا ؟ قَالَ: وَأَنَا أَحْلِفُ لَأَحْمِلَنَّكُمْ

Translation

✧ We asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for mounts, and he swore that he would not give us mounts, then he gave us mounts. I said: O Messenger of Allah, you swore that you would not give us mounts? He said: And I swear that I will surely give you mounts.
