حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ وَعَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

لَا عَدْوَى، وَلَا طِيَرَةَ، وَيُعْجِبُنِي الْفَأْلُ. قَالَ: قِيلَ: يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ، مَا الْفَأْلُ ؟ قَالَ: الْكَلِمَةُ الْحَسَنَةُ. قَالَ أَبُو عَامِرٍ: أَوْ قَالَ: الْكَلِمَةُ الصَّالِحَةُ

Translation

✧ There is no contagion, and no evil omen, and I like the good omen. He said: "It was said: 'O Prophet of God, what is the good omen?' He said: 'The good word.'" Abu 'Amir said: "Or he said: 'The righteous word.'"
