✧ The Prophet ﷺ sent me to Yemen as a judge, and I said: You send me to a people while I am young in age and have no knowledge of judging? He placed his hand on my chest and said: May God make you firm and guide you. When the two litigants come to you, do not judge for the first until you have heard from the other, for it is more likely that the judgment will become clear to you. He said: And I remained a judge thereafter.
