✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ and Zayd b. Thābit had the pre-dawn meal. When they finished their suḥūr, the Messenger of God ﷺ stood for prayer and prayed. We asked Anas, 'How much time was there between their finishing and their suḥūr and their entering the prayer?' He said, 'It was about as long as a man recites fifty verses.'
