✧ I said: "Tell us something you witnessed yourself of these wonders, not from someone else." He said: "The Messenger of God ﷺ prayed the noon prayer and sat on the seats where Gabriel ﷺ used to come to him. Then Bilal came and informed him of the afternoon prayer, so he stood up. Those who had families in Madinah went to relieve themselves and perform ablution, while some of the emigrants remained who had no families in Madinah. A wide cup was brought to the Messenger of God ﷺ with a little water at its bottom. He said: 'The Messenger of God ﷺ placed his palm in the cup, but his palm did not fit, so he placed these four fingers of his, then said: "Come near and perform ablution." They performed ablution until not one of them remained without having performed ablution. We said: "O Abu Hamzah, how many do you think they were?" He said: "Between seventy and eighty.""
