حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْقُنُوتِ، أَقَبْلَ الرُّكُوعِ أَوْ بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ ؟ فَقَالَ: قَبْلَ الرُّكُوعِ. قَالَ: قُلْتُ: فَإِنَّهُمْ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَنَتَ بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ، فَقَالَ: كَذَبُوا، إِنَّمَا قَنَتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ شَهْرًا يَدْعُو عَلَى نَاسٍ قَتَلُوا نَاسًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ، يُقَالُ لَهُمُ: الْقُرَّاءُ
Translation

✧ I asked him about the qunut: before the ruku' or after the ruku'? He said: Before the ruku'. He said: I said: But they claim that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed qunut after the ruku'. He said: They lied. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed qunut only for a month, supplicating against people who killed people from his companions called the Qurra'.
