حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَسْمَعُ بُكَاءَ الصَّبِيِّ مَعَ أُمِّهِ وَهُوَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَيَقْرَأُ بِالسُّورَةِ الْخَفِيفَةِ. قَالَ جَعْفَرٌ: أَوْ بِالسُّورَةِ الْقَصِيرَةِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would hear the crying of an infant with his mother while he was in prayer, and he would recite a light surah. Ja'far said: Or a short surah.
