حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثُمَامَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ خَرَجَ إِلَيْهِمْ فِي رَمَضَانَ فَخَفَّفَ بِهِمْ، ثُمَّ دَخَلَ فَأَطَالَ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَخَفَّفَ بِهِمْ، ثُمَّ دَخَلَ فَأَطَالَ، فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحْنَا قُلْنَا: يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ، جِئْنَا اللَّيْلَةَ فَخَرَجْتَ إِلَيْنَا فَخَفَّفْتَ، ثُمَّ دَخَلْتَ فَأَطَلْتَ ؟ قَالَ: مِنْ أَجْلِكُمْ فَعَلْتُ
Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ came out to them during Ramadan and made it light for them, then he entered and lengthened it. Then he came out and made it light for them, then he entered and lengthened it. When morning came, we said: 'O Prophet of Allah, we came at night and you came out to us and made it light, then you entered and lengthened it?' He said: 'Because of you I did that.'
