✧ I entered upon Abu ʿAbd al-Rahman al-Sulami, and he had prayed the dawn prayer and was sitting in the mosque. I said: If you got up and went to your bed, would it not be more comfortable for you? He said: I heard Ali say: I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: Whoever prays the dawn prayer, then sits in his place of prayer, the angels send blessings upon him, and their blessings upon him are: O God, forgive him; O God, have mercy on him. And whoever waits for the prayer, the angels send blessings upon him, and their blessings upon him are: O God, forgive him; O God, have mercy on him.
