✧ I said to Fatimah: If only you went to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him for a servant, for grinding and work have exhausted you. Husayn said: Grinding and work have indeed wearied you, and likewise said Abu Ahmad. She said: Then come with me. So I went with her, and we asked him. The Prophet ﷺ said: Shall I not direct you both to what is better for you than that? When you retire to your beds, glorify God thirty-three times, praise Him thirty-three times, and magnify Him thirty-four times. That is one hundred on the tongue and one thousand in the balance. Ali said: I have not left it since I heard it from the Prophet ﷺ. A man said: Not even on the night of Siffin? He said: Not even on the night of Siffin.
