حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ أَخْبَرَنِي سُهَيْلٌ أَخُو حَزْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ
قَرَأَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ أَهْلُ التَّقْوَى وَأَهْلُ الْمَغْفِرَةِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ: أَنَا أَهْلٌ أَنْ أُتَّقَى، فَلَا يُجْعَلْ مَعِي إِلَهٌ، فَمَنِ اتَّقَى أَنْ يَجْعَلَ مَعِي إِلَهًا كَانَ أَهْلًا أَنْ أَغْفِرَ لَهُ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited this verse: 'the people of taqwa and the people of forgiveness.' He said: Your Lord said: I am worthy of being feared, so do not set up any god besides Me. Whoever fears setting up any god besides Me is worthy of My forgiveness.
