✧ Usayd b. Hudayr and another man from the Ansar were talking with the Messenger of God ﷺ one night about a matter of theirs, until an hour of the night had passed; it was a very dark night. Then they left the Messenger of God ﷺ to return, each with a small staff in his hand. The staff of one of them shone for them, so they walked in its light, until the road separated them; then the other's staff shone for him, and each of them walked in the light of his staff until he reached his family.
