✧ “I am the daughter of a Jew.” So she wept. The Prophet ﷺ came in to her while she was crying and said, “What is the matter with you?” She said, “Hafṣah said to me: ‘I am the daughter of a Jew.’” The Prophet ﷺ said, “You are the daughter of a prophet, your uncle is a prophet, and you are married to a prophet—so in what does she boast over you?” Then he said, “Fear Allah, O Hafṣah.”
