حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَجَدَ تَمْرَةً، فَقَالَ: لَوْلَا أَنْ تَكُونِي مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ لَأَكَلْتُكِ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ found a date and said: 'Were it not that you might be from the sadaqah, I would eat you.'
