حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا التَّيْمِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ
قَنَتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ شَهْرًا بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ يَدْعُو عَلَى رِعْلٍ وَذَكْوَانَ، وَقَالَ: عُصَيَّةُ عَصَتِ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

machine translationZāʾidah, Yaḥyā al-Qaṭṭān, Yazīd b. Zurayʿ, Muʿtamir, Muʿādh b. Muʿādh and Abū Khālid al-Aḥmar narrate it from al-Taymī, from Abū Mijlaz, from Anas. Sufyān al-Thawrī also narrated it, and there is disagreement about him. Al-Qāsim al-Jarmī and Qabīṣah narrated it, and there is disagreement about the latter, from al-Thawrī, from Sulaymān, from Abū Mijlaz, from Anas. It was also said, from Qabīṣah, from al-Thawrī, from al-Taymī, from Abū Mijlaz, from Ibn ʿAbbās, but that is not authentic from Ibn ʿAbbās. Ibn al-Mubārak narrated it from al-Taymī, from Anas, without mentioning anyone between them. The correct version is what Yaḥyā al-Qaṭṭān and those who followed him said. ʿImrān b. Ḥudayr narrated it from Abū Mijlaz as a mursal report from the Prophet ﷺ. Muḥammad b. Sīrīn also narrated this hadith from Anas: that the Prophet ﷺ performed the qunūt after bowing (rukūʿ). Ayyūb, Khālid al-Ḥadhdhāʾ, Hishām b. Ḥassān and Yūnus b. ʿUbayd related it, and there is disagreement about the last. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. al-Mubārak narrated it from Bishr b. al-Mufaḍḍal, from Yūnus, from Ibn Sīrīn: 'One who prayed with the Prophet ﷺ narrated to me', without naming anyone, that when he raised his head from bowing he stood for a short while. ʿĀṣim al-Aḥwal and Ḥabīb b. Muhājir narrated it from Anas, also about the qunūt after bowing, and that is authentic from Anas. Muḥammad b. al-ʿAbbās b. Mihrān narrated to us, he said: Jaʿfar b. Abī ʿUthmān al-Ṭayālisī narrated to us, he said: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān b. al-Mubārak narrated to us, he said: Bishr b. al-Mufaḍḍal narrated to us, from Yūnus b. ʿUbayd, from Muḥammad b. Sīrīn, who said: I asked Anas, 'Did the Messenger of God ﷺ perform the qunūt?' He said: 'Yes.' I said: 'Before bowing or after bowing?' He said: 'For a month.' Muḥammad b. Makhlad al-ʿAṭṭār narrated to us, he said: ʿAbdullāh b. Muḥammad al-Baṣrī narrated to us, he said: Isḥāq b. Muḥammad b. Isḥāq al-ʿAmmī narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to us, from Yūnus, from Muḥammad b. Sīrīn, from Anas b. Mālik: that the Prophet ﷺ performed the qunūt after bowing.
