حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ أَنَّ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ حَدَّثَهُمْ
مَا بَالُ أَقْوَامٍ يَرْفَعُونَ أَبْصَارَهُمْ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فِي صَلَاتِهِمْ، فَاشْتَدَّ قَوْلُهُ فِي ذَلِكَ حَتَّى قَالَ: لَيَنْتَهُنَّ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، أَوْ لَتُخْطَفَنَّ أَبْصَارُهُمْ
Translation

✧ “What is the matter with people who raise their eyes to the sky in their prayer?” His words became severe regarding that until he said: “They must stop that, or else their sight will be snatched away.”
