حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مَرَّ بِرَجُلٍ وَهُوَ يُهَادَى بَيْنَ ابْنَيْهِ، قَالُوا: نَذَرَ أَنْ يَمْشِيَ، قَالَ: إِنَّ اللهَ عَنْ تَعْذِيبِ هَذَا نَفْسَهُ لَغَنِيٌّ، فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَرْكَبَ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a man who was being supported between his two sons. They said: He vowed to walk. He said: Allah is indeed free from need of this man's torturing himself. So he ordered him to ride.
