✧ The Prophet ﷺ came to Khaybar in the morning, and they had gone out with their shovels. When they saw him, they said: 'Muḥammad and the army, Muḥammad and the army.' Then they turned and ran to the fortress, and the Messenger of God ﷺ raised his hands, then said Allāhu akbar three times, then said: 'Khaybar is ruined. When we descend upon a people's courtyard, evil is the morning of those warned.' Then we seized donkeys outside the village and cooked them, and the Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'God, Mighty and Majestic, and His Messenger forbid you domestic donkeys, for they are filth from the work of Satan.'
