حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ، وَعُثْمَانَ كَانُوا يَفْتَتِحُونَ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِـ الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

Translation

Chain of narrators

  2. Saʿīd b. Abū ʿArūbah
  3. Qatādah
  4. Anas b. Mālik

✧ The Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman used to begin the recitation with 'Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds.'
