✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ announced departure to us in the year of the conquest on the second night of Ramadan. We set out fasting until we reached al-Kadid. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us to break the fast. The people awoke, some fasting and some not, until we reached the nearest camp facing the enemy. He commanded us to break the fast, and we all broke it.
