✧ We captured female captives on the day of Hunayn, and we would practice coitus interruptus with them, seeking to ransom them from their families. Some of us said to others: "You do this while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is among you? Come to him and ask him." So we came to him, or we mentioned that to him. He said: "It is not from every drop of water that a child is born. When Allah decrees a matter, it comes to pass." And we passed by cooking pots while they were boiling, and he said to us: "What is this meat?" We said: "Meat of donkeys." He said to us: "Domestic or wild?" We said: "Rather domestic." He said: "So he said to us: 'Then overturn them.'" He said: "So we overturned them, while we were hungry and craving it." He said: "And we were commanded to tie up the water skins."
