حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ أَنَّ عَطَاءَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ

مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ مِنْ وَصَبٍ وَلَا نَصَبٍ وَلَا سَقَمٍ وَلَا حَزَنٍ وَلَا أَذًى، حَتَّى الْهَمِّ يُهِمُّهُ إِلَّا اللهُ يُكَفِّرُ عَنْهُ مِنْ سَيِّئَاتِهِ

Translation

  6. Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī

✧ No illness, fatigue, sickness, grief, or harm befalls a believer, even worry that concerns him, but Allah expiates some of his sins thereby.
