حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَانِيَةِ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ، عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ فَقَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ هَذَا الْجَرِّ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: فَالْجُفُّ ؟ قَالَ: ذَاكَ أَشَرُّ وَأَشَرُّ

✧ I asked Abu Sa'id al-Khudri about nabidh in earthenware jars. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade this jar. I said: What about the large water-skin? He said: That is worse, and worse.
