حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيِّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ: مَا بَالُ أَقْوَامٍ يَقُولُونَ: إِنَّ رَحِمَ رَسُولِ اللهِ لَا تَنْفَعُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ؟ ! فَوَاللهِ إِنَّ رَحِمِي لَمَوْصُولَةٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، وَإِنِّي أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ فَرَطٌ لَكُمْ عَلَى الْحَوْضِ

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say on the pulpit: 'What is the matter with people who say that the kinship of the Messenger of Allah will not benefit on the Day of Resurrection? By Allah, my kinship is connected in this world and the Hereafter. And indeed, O people, I am your forerunner at the Basin.'
