✧ Indeed, the Messenger of God ﷺ, in the year of Tabūk, addressed the people while leaning his back against a palm tree, and said, “Shall I inform you of the best of people and the worst of people? Indeed, among the best of people is a man who works in the cause of God on the back of his horse, or on the back of his camel, or on his two feet, until death comes to him. And indeed, among the worst of people is a wicked, bold man who recites the Book of God [mighty and glorious is He] but does not refrain from any of it.”
