حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَنْ مَوْلًى لِأَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ
أَنَّهُ كَانَ مَعَ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ وَهُوَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: فَدَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَرَأَى رَجُلًا جَالِسًا وَسَطَ الْمَسْجِدِ، مُشَبِّكًا بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِهِ يُحَدِّثُ نَفْسَهُ، فَأَوْمَأَ إِلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَلَمْ يَفْطَنْ، قَالَ: فَالْتَفَتَ إِلَى أَبِي سَعِيدٍ فَقَالَ: إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فَلَا يُشَبِّكَنَّ بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِهِ فَإِنَّ التَّشْبِيكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ، فَإِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ لَا يَزَالُ فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا دَامَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ مِنْهُ
Translation

✧ He was with Abu Said, who was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: The Prophet ﷺ entered and saw a man sitting in the middle of the mosque, interlacing his fingers and talking to himself. The Prophet ﷺ gestured to him, but he did not notice. He said: Then he turned to Abu Said and said: 'When one of you prays, let him not interlace his fingers, for interlacing is from Satan. Indeed, one of you remains in prayer as long as he is in the mosque, until he leaves it.'
