✧ We performed Hajj and stopped beneath a tree. Ibn Sa'id came and stopped in its vicinity, and I said, 'Truly, to God we belong; what has brought this one upon me!' He said, 'O Abu Sa'id, what do I encounter from people and what do they say to me? They say that I am the Dajjal. Have you not heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: "The Dajjal will not have children, and he will not enter Madinah or Makkah?"' I said, 'Yes.' He said, 'I have had children, and I have left Madinah, and I intend to go to Makkah.' Abu Sa'id said, 'It was as though I felt sympathy for him.' Then he said, 'By God, I am indeed the most knowledgeable of people about his location.' I said, 'May you perish for the rest of the day.'
