✧ Abu Sa'id al-Khudri was suffering from pain in his leg. His brother entered upon him while he was lying down with one leg crossed over the other. He struck his painful leg with his hand, causing him pain. He said: 'You hurt me! Did you not know that my leg was painful?' He replied: 'Yes.' He said: 'What made you do that?' He said: 'Did you not hear that the Prophet ﷺ forbade this?'
