حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى الْمَهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بَعَثَ بَعْثًا إِلَى لِحْيَانَ بْنِ هُذَيْلٍ قَالَ: لِيَنْبَعِثْ مِنْ كُلِّ رَجُلَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَا وَالْأَجْرُ بَيْنَهُمَا. ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي مُدِّنَا وَصَاعِنَا، وَاجْعَلِ الْبَرَكَةَ بَرَكَتَيْنِ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ sent an expedition against Liḥyān b. Hudhayl and said: “Let one of every two men go forth, and the reward is between them.” Then the Messenger of God ﷺ said: “O God, bless us in our mudd and our ṣāʿ, and make the blessing two blessings.”
