حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ زَيْدٍ الْعَمِّيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الصِّدِّيقِعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِرَجُلٍ قَالَ مِسْعَرٌ: أَظُنُّهُ فِي شَرَابٍ، فَضَرَبَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِنَعْلَيْنِ أَرْبَعِينَ

Translation

✧ A man was brought to the Prophet ﷺ—Mis'ar said: I think it was for drinking—and the Prophet ﷺ struck him forty times with two sandals.
