حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ

إِنَّ أَهْلَ النَّارِ الَّذِينَ لَا يُرِيدُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِخْرَاجَهُمْ لَا يَمُوتُونَ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَوْنَ، وَإِنَّ أَهْلَ النَّارِ الَّذِينَ يُرِيدُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِخْرَاجَهُمْ يُمِيتُهُمْ فِيهَا إِمَاتَةً حَتَّى يَصِيرُوا فَحْمًا، ثُمَّ يُخْرَجُونَ ضَبَائِرَ فَيُلْقَوْنَ عَلَى أَنْهَارِ الْجَنَّةِ، أَوْ يُرَشُّ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ أَنْهَارِ الْجَنَّةِ فَيَنْبُتُونَ كَمَا تَنْبُتُ الْحِبَّةُ فِي حَمِيلِ السَّيْلِ

Translation

✧ Indeed, the people of the Fire whom Allah, Mighty and Majestic, does not want to bring out will neither die in it nor live, and the people of the Fire whom Allah, Mighty and Majestic, wants to bring out, He will cause them to die in it a [true] death until they become charcoal, then they are brought out in bundles and cast upon the rivers of Paradise, or water from the rivers of Paradise is sprinkled on them, and they grow as a seed grows in the silt of a flood.
