حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو إِسْرَائِيلَ يَعْنِي إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنَ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُلَائِيَّ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
إِنِّي تَارِكٌ فِيكُمُ الثَّقَلَيْنِ: أَحَدُهُمَا أَكْبَرُ مِنَ الْآخَرِ؛ كِتَابُ اللهِ حَبْلٌ مَمْدُودٌ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ، وَعِتْرَتِي أَهْلُ بَيْتِي، وَإِنَّهُمَا لَنْ يَفْتَرِقَا حَتَّى يَرِدَا عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ

✧ I am leaving among you the two weighty things: one of them is greater than the other; the Book of Allah is a rope stretched from heaven to earth, and my offspring, the people of my house. They will never separate until they return to me at the Pool.
