حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ حَدَّثَنِي عِيَاضُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُحِبُّ الْعَرَاجِينَ، يُمْسِكُهَا فِي يَدِهِ، فَدَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ، فَرَأَى نُخَامَةً فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ، فَحَتَّهَا بِهِ حَتَّى أَنْقَاهَا

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to like palm stalks, holding them in his hand. He entered the mosque and saw spit in the qiblah of the mosque, so he scraped it off with it until he cleaned it.
