حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ

كَيْفَ أَنْعَمُ وَقَدِ الْتَقَمَ صَاحِبُ الْقَرْنِ الْقَرْنَ، وَحَنَى جَبْهَتَهُ، وَأَصْغَى سَمْعَهُ يَنْظُرُ مَتَى يُؤْمَرُ ؟ قَالَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَمَا نَقُولُ: قَالَ: قُولُوا حَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ، عَلَى اللهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا

Translation

✧ How can I be at ease when the one with the horn has put the horn to his mouth, bent his forehead, and inclined his ear, waiting for when he will be commanded? The Muslims said: O Messenger of Allah, what should we say? He said: Say: Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs. Upon Allah we rely.
