حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ

حَقُّ الْمُسْلِمِ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ خَمْسٌ يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْهِ إِذَا لَقِيَهُ، وَيُشَمِّتُهُ إِذَا عَطَسَ، وَيَعُودُهُ إِذَا مَرِضَ، وَيَشْهَدُ جِنَازَتَهُ إِذَا مَاتَ، وَيُجِيبُهُ إِذَا دَعَاهُ.

✧ The right of a Muslim over a Muslim is five: to return the greeting of peace when he meets him, to respond to his sneeze when he sneezes, to visit him when he is sick, to attend his funeral when he dies, and to answer his invitation when he calls him.
